Best Practices for Protection from Robocalls

BrevAll recommends these basic actions for all SMBs to implement immediately to protect their organizations:

  • Employees should recognize inbound calls using Caller ID and

ignore calls from suspicious sources.

  • Update your company policy to prohibit returning any suspicious calls. Educate all

employees of the threat and consequences.

  • Remind employees they should never disclose sensitive information such as credit card

numbers or other customer data over the phone, unless they have positively verified the identity of the caller.

  • If a business owner wants to take extra precautions, they can automatically block all

international calls to eliminate threats coming in from outside the US.
